I think we need a little clarification on the instrumentals. I have the Music app, but I choose to not pay for the Apple Music streaming service. I downloaded loads of songs on iTunes back in the day and use those still on my device. Both lyrics and the karaoke feature appear to be unavailable to me. Is this because I don’t pay for the streaming?

Thank you so much! I have a smaller 4th gen I pad air that I bought to use at a previous job. I now work from home and am studying a post grad. I neglected my ipad a bit as I hadn't set it up properly and didn't know its full capabilities. It seems the more iOS updates that happen, it becomes even more useful. I sit at a computer all day for work so I don't want to have to sit at my mac all evening to study. I've found my ipad is actually really useful and a lot more productive for some things that you have mentioned here (screenshotting and marking up pdf’s), which would have taken a lot longer on my mac. I’ve been considering getting a new ipad with a larger screen as my current one is a bit too small for studying. I want the new one that has just been announced with the nano-textur glass so its easier on the eyes, but unfortunately you can only get that in the 1TB model which is a lot more expensive. I couldn’t justify spending that. However you have just opened my eyes up to a lot more possibilities with the iPad and I think it will actually really help me study more frequently, more efficiently and a lot more enjoyably! Whilst also being in less pain due to sitting in the same posture all day 😂 This video might have persuaded me to possibly treat myself for my 30th!

What about Samsung A51 phones my battery needs replacing my phone said 85% FULLY charge and yet it has only reached 15% I watch alot of you tube does that drain battery quicker I don't have wireless charging I charge by cable think my Samsung battery is draining power very quickly do I need to discharge my battery before I recharge how do I know if my battery needs replacing .I had my samsungA50 phone now for three years. Haven’t opened the AppStore for so long, as I have all the apps I’ll ever need, that I didn’t realise game emulators were available. Yeah not really a power user. But frankly won’t play a good old NES or SuperNES game for nostalgia on a small screen made even smaller with the controller. And won’t purchase some compatible controller for that.

Is there a way to turn on a focus mode by a calendar event? For example if I have a meeting scheduled in the calendar app, can that activate a “meetings” focus mode?

There is some disappointments though. apple have been very slow to include other languages to their advanced features like visual lookup translations app and such, I live in Sweden and is a native Swedish speaker, I’m fairly fluent in English but still prefer to keto my device in Swedish. Many features are supported in Swedish too, but the mentioned once’s are glaring omissions that would be really useful to have in my language too. I think there is a real concern that some of the features coming in iOS 18 might be hampered by this limitation for me… what do you think?
